Our passion is giving back and we believe that starts right in the local community.
That’s why every time we bring on a new Barefooter we ask them, “What are you passionate about?” Whatever their answer, we tell them to pursue it. Whether it’s getting involved in the local dog show or supporting the Arts in their neighborhood, we want them to go there, do good and share our Wine. When you’re doing what you love, it’s hard not to make a difference. Along with our bigger projects like Beach Rescue and Beach Volleyball, we’ve been lucky to be involved in tons of great initiatives right in your backyard…wherever that backyard happens to be. Getting our toes wet with our neighbors, friends and local communities is one of our favorite things to do and we can’t wait to see where our heart leads us next!

BAREFOOT WINE BEACH RESCUE PROJECT
Clean beaches and bare feet. Those are two of our favourite things.
So we decided, why not combine them into something good?
Our perfect partner arrived in the Surfers Against Sewage
and we’ve been celebrating life with sand between our toes for more than 5 years now.
It’s hard to have fun in the sun when so many beaches are closed or posted as unhealthy.
So in 2008, we created the Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project with Surfers Against Sewage. Our goal?
To keep the world’s beaches “barefoot friendly.”
In the past five years, we’ve held more than 75 cleanups. We’ve helped remove more than four tons of rubbish and hosted more than 2,000 volunteers. All while having a blast with some great people like you. It’s always important to celebrate a job well done and we make sure to toast after a big cleanup. So join in. Roll up your jeans and take a stand in the sand.
LGBTQ
Out and proud. We’ve been celebrating with the LGBT community for more than 20 years. Everyone has the right to get Barefoot and have a great time. And we believe in doing that with whomever you want. In 1988, the first donation was made celebrating diversity to San Francisco’s Golden Gate Business Association. And the party just won’t stop! In 2009, we partnered with over 100 different LGBT local non-profits as well as national charities like GLAAD, CenterLink, InterPRIDE and GALA Chorus. We’ve toasted to same-sex marriage on top of a giant wedding cake. We’ve walked PRIDE festivals around the globe and danced with every kind of Foot Fan out there.
